Daki does not die when beheaded because Upper Six is two demons: her brother Gyutaro shares the rank and the body.

Both Upper Six heads fall in the same breath. Uzui loses a hand and an eye; Nezuko's flames burn the poison out of the dying.

Gyutaro's death is the first Upper Rank defeat in a hundred years, and it drags the remaining Upper Ranks in front of Muzan for the first time in a century.
